How To Play
• Prove you know ball by building a six-player roster: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE.
• Use the team prompt shown for that difficulty and find valid historical players.
• Your Final Score is the average of the six player ratings you submit.
Daily Play Limit
You get one official run per difficulty per day.
After you finish a mode, that mode is locked until tomorrow. Use View Team to reopen the roster card, or visit the History page to review saved runs.
Difficulty Levels
Easy — Team only
Medium — Team + decade (1950s–2020s only)
Hard — Team + decade + Hall of Fame excluded (1950s–2010s only)
Sicko — No Pro Bowlers
Impossible — Team + decade + No Pro Bowlers (1950s–2020s only)
Franchise Logic
Team history follows the franchise, not just the current city name. For example:
• Titans also include Oilers years
• Commanders also include Redskins and Washington Football Team years
• historical team abbreviations may still map to the same franchise
Historical Accuracy Note
Some historical edge cases can be messy when teams changed cities or shared abbreviations across eras, such as the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams. The game aims to handle these accurately, but some historical mapping issues may still exist.
